There have long been reports of an intense rivalry between STR and Dhanush, two of the hottest stars in the industry. But things really heated up when Dhanush's Kolaveri Di went viral and overnight he became one of the most sought after stars in the country. Rumormongers went to town saying that STR was jealous of Dhanush's meteoric rise and the star's subsequently released Love Anthem was the result of his competitive nature.Things got ugly when Dhanush complained of an attempt to sabotage his Sachin anthem and the blame was laid by third persons at STR's door. Both stars maintained a studied silence against these stories and eventually the dust settled. Now at the recently held SIIMA (South Indian International Movie Awards) both Dhanush and STR won awards and were the first to congratulate each other.STR went a step further and went on record in his microblogging site to say that he had a great time in Dubai with his good buddy, Dhanush and even posted a photo of them chatting it up on the flight back!
