priyamni is north bound

National award winning actress Priyamani is all set to embark on a very exciting character in Charulatha. This would be the first time someone would be playing conjoined twins. Priyamani is all geared up for this challenge and she is all set to fly to Kashmir along with the unit of Charulatha. There are very few movies that have been shot in Kashmir and given the astonishing natural beauty of Kashmir, we can expect some mind-blowing visuals. Hope this opens the flood gates and more Tamil producers explore Kashmir as a location to film their movies, for it is truly a paradise on earth. Charulatha is directed by Ponvannan, former assistant of director K.S.Ravikumar. It started off as a Kannada movie but it is now being made in Tamil and Telugu too due to the unique subject. The movie will release in Malayalam also. The Thai movie 'Alone' is said to be the inspiration for this movie with adequate changes in the script to suit local sensibilities.
