Prasanna remarked that he liked the film and found Karthi and Santhanam's performances to be absolutely rocking. He also liked the message of the film that one man can truly make a difference.Premgi praised Karthi and Santhanam for their super performances and said that he has become a fan of the heroine Praneetha who according to him is amazing. The actor added that Saguni is not his kind of film as he is partial to his brother Venkat Prabhu's films like Chennai 600028, Saroja, Goa and Mankatha.
