Contrary to media reports director Sargunam has clarified that he is not doing Manja Pye with Vimal in the lead. He is doing a film with Dhanush and the film is titled Sotta Valla Kutty. The film will hit the floors in September and the first leg of the shoot will be held in Hosur followed by Nagerkoil. The director has roped in the music director of Vagai Sooda Vaa, Gibran to score the music. Manja Pye will be directed by one of Sargunam's assistant directors, Naveen.
